David is a native North Carolinian, born and raised in Durham, NC. He attended school at NC State before beginning his professional career. Raised in the restaurant business and held various jobs in sales, contracting and Real Estate. He was a top producing broker in Raleigh for nearly 15 years specializing in New Construction, builder marketing and land development. He served on various boards in the Triangle, State and National levels for the Board of Realtors. He advocated for individual property rights in Washington DC for the NAR. After a great career run, he chose to relocate his family to Southport, NC to be closer to his family and support the family business. David is passionate and proud of his family....wife Karen, son Harrison and daughter Anna Kate! He enjoys boating, golfing and woodworking in his spare time. He has never met a stranger and loves to help others in his community.

Matt has been in the construction industry for 25 years.
Growing up in the North Country region of New York gave Matt a real sense of the value of hard work. Even as a child, he was actively involved in his family’s construction business. He learned at an early age to be a jack of all trades — mechanic, equipment operator, carpenter.

Growing up in the North Country region of New York gave Matt a real sense of the value of hard work. Even as a child, he was actively involved in his family’s construction business. He learned at an early age to be a jack of all trades — mechanic, equipment operator, carpenter.
By the time he was ready for college, it was obvious that his interests and skills fit best with a Construction Engineering degree. After graduating, he headed to the Chapel Hill area to get experience in an urban setting. He worked in both the commercial and residential housing markets, gaining experience at a higher level each time.
Matt fell in love with Coastal Carolina and moved to Southport. It was here that he met his wife Elisabeth. They raised their son Cameron here, and Southport has been their home ever since.
Matt and Elisabeth formed True North Building Company in 2010. He possesses both a commercial and residential contractor's license. Living on the East Coast has brought him many challenges as a result of storms and other natural disasters. Matt will oversee all of Carolina Roof Wrap's projects, as he knows the intricacies of roof systems and potential leak remediation.
